WHAT TIME IS IT NOW?
In the creations there are various life spans given to each creature. All no doubt accept their length of days as a full life. Yet to us (homo sapiens) we look at creatures of a lesser order (like our pets) and ponder at the shortness of their life. To we that believe in a higher order (ie, God) we need to look at God's life span (the eternities) and realize how short our lives are.
To do this God has given us a parallel (2 Pet 3.8) 'That one day with the Lord is as a thousand years' - that is to say in God's dealings with mankind one day to God is equal to 1000 years to us.
Having said this - let's use poetic licence for a moment and adopt God's time phase. A few moments after midnight last Monday morning, Adam was formed of the dust of the earth. Before the clock struck midnight Monday evening, Adam was dead. God said (Gen 2.1 7) 'For in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die'. Adam's race multiplied outside Eden, and Adam walked with many of his generations - in fact 9 in all - to Lamech the Father of Noah.
At 1.20 am Tuesday morning Noah was born. At 1 .20 pm Tuesday God had determined to destroy Adam`s race (Gen 6). They had mixed with other nations and their sin was great, that is, except Noah - who was found righteous enough to carry the plan of God forward to another day at 3.44 pm Tuesday, God flooded that part of the earth.
At 12,08 am Wednesday morning Noah died - and later at 1.59 am Abram was called out to perpetuate God's plan through his generations. (20th generation from Adam). By 7.09am the children of Israel had entered Egypt with Joseph - 12.53 pm Wednesday Moses crossed the Red Sea - 1.50 pm Israel entered Gaanan.
In the early moments of Thursday morning, the temple was dedicated by Solomon. By 1.36 am Israel had been divided into the northern and southern Kingdoms. At 4.39 am Assyria began to cut off the northern house of Israel. 5.09am Jonah was sent to Nineveh. Between 6.04 am and
7.04 am Israel was taken captive by Assyria from whence it was dispersed. 9.25 am Thursday Nineveh had fallen.
9.25 am Thursday the Babylonians pushed forward to Jerusalem .
9.56 am Jerusalem was sacked, the land desolated and the balance of the southern house taken back to Babylon as slaves.
11.08 am Babylon fell and the Jews began to return to Palestine under Persian rule. For the next few hours the temple was rebuilt, the walls of Jerusalem raised and the land re-established for the coming Messiah.
Christ was born 6 minutes before midnight Thursday evening (Sept 4BC)
SO ENDS THE FIRST FOUR DAYS OF THE WEEK WE NOW ENTER THE LAST TWO DAYS
By 12.43 am Friday Christ had died (7th April 30 AD) was resurrected, and within moments the Church was born at Jerusalem with the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit. A few minutes later Paul was saved and by 1.04 am was on his first journey. By 1.22 am Paul had finished his journeys and was imprisoned, he arrived in Rome at 1.26 am Friday.
Jerusalem was sacked at 1.40 am Friday and by 2.16 am John had commenced his REVELATION of Jesus Christ to the Churches of Asia. For the next few hours the Churches went through the most severe persecution at the hands of the Romans - by 7.30 am Constantine had given the Christians a place in the Empire.
Unfortunately instead of this making the Church and its message more available to the people, it made power more available to the Church. Between 7.30am Friday and 2.30 pm the Church had compromised itself to the Roman system, married into power, practised religion for reward, and held the image of a woman as its banner. This final state of the Church, was to enjoy enormous power until 8.41 pm Saturday.
At 4.48 am Saturday folk were becoming aware and outspoken at the demise of the Church (now the Church of Rome) and by 12.28 pm the reformation was under way. Hour by hour thousands moved away from tradition to receive the Holy Spirit. (Rev 2:3,4). At 9.56 pm Saturday the first world war broke out. 10 pm Jerusalem was finally delivered from gentile hands, bringing together the prophesies contained in Daniel 12:12 Luke 21:24, Hagai 2:18.
At 10.32 pm the second world war was under way unveiling the gruesome prophesies of Zechariah and Joel.
At 11.15 pm the Aswan Dam was built fulfilling the prophesies contained in Isaiah 19 and Ezekiel 29 and 30.
SO WHAT TIME IS IT NOW? BONG! BONG! BONG!
AT THE THIRD STROKE IT WILL BE 11.36 pm PRECISELY
It's 24 minutes before the start of a new day - the millennium reign - God's national Sabbath. Are you ready? At one minute past midnight (17th Sept 2001) His Majesty the Lord Jesus Christ will rule out of Zion. Are you ready? -------- But wait! We have raced ahead a bit.
The Bible says (Matt 24:22) that these last days are to be shortened else mankind will destroy himself.
"We won`t make it to the millennium?" You ask.
"How much shorter can it be? This day has only got 24 minutes left." You ask.
Any minute now the full arsenal of man's devices will break loose. "And then what?" You ask.
The Bible says (Matt 24:29 and 31) immediately after that time Christ will appear to gather his elect together. So CHRIST'S RETURN is sometime between now and midnight.
" SO WHAT TIME IS IT NOW ?"
ITS CLOSER TO MIDNIGHT THAN YOU THINK ! ARE YOU READY ?
